With company shipping over 800 containers per month Asia to the US. Freight rates have gone up for some US destinations from 2k to over 20k. This is happening globally. Also impacting raw material prices due to freight on deliveries. Add in structural power shortages in China, factory stoppages. Basic economics of supply and demand. In no way is this a 'price gouge'. A lot of these price increases have not yet been passed to consumers and are currently being absorbed by distributors. Transitory inflation my ass. Inflation going to be hanging around.
