Its quite something to see the OzPOG rise by A$200 per oz over the past 2 weeks.
For a Company producing 500,000 ozpa, that $200 represents clear profit. That's an extra A$100mpa.
Deduct 30% for tax and multiply by the respective P/E (let's say 8) and theoretically at least, it should add another A$560m to the MC.
Instead the MC increased about 10%, or about A$150m.
Given time, I'd expect the MC to increase by about this amount IF the POG holds. Personally, I expect the POG to go higher from here.
