Anyone have any thoughts on EVN. Up almost 10% on acquisition news. But resource seems very underwhelming, 1g/tonne copper, 0.5g/tonnne gold. Paid a bit over 1 billion for it through debt most due via a 400 mill balloon payment due in 6 or so years.. Am I missing something. Tropicana deal got hammered but looks like a better resource. I know market likes debt better than dilution but still. Also timing I guess. Tropicana was done when people though gold was crashing, this deal done while gold is heading higher.
