Can market sentiment of RRL get any lower? The BEOT will attack if they sense irrational fear.

McPhillamys doesn't even rate.

Most pundits say they paid too much for Tropicana.

Duketon AISCs up, as they plough through temporary low grade intercepts.

Hedge Book hangs like a crown of thorns (although it has decreased markedly over the past year, when the share price was more than double today).

The POG seemingly negative ... although in A$s its up over A$2,500.

Now a former Director puts the boot into the current BOD at the AGM.

Is there any room for more negative news?

Well, they did report at the AGM that while they still expect a strong H2FY22 and achieve production guidance ... it will be at the lower end.


The RRL MC is now ~A$1.4b. How much of that is Duketon, Tropicana or McPhillamys?

I keep thinking of that Warren Buffett interview, where he recalls his youth and seeing real value. The only thing it required of an investor, was patience. I'd sell other holdings to invest here but I'm patiently waiting for value to be proven there too.

Newmont recently paid A$3.7b to Pretium for a resource that is inferior to Tropicana. Pretium produces 311,000ozpa with AISC of ~A$1,000 (US$743). Tropicana produces 500,000ozpa with AISC of ~A$1,179. Go figure. RRL produces 500,000ozpa but has announced it will now likely be only 450,000 (for this year only).

Patience, I reckon. Santa is coming.
