Hmmm. I think this is not just all BOD. It was obvious to me at the time that LT shareholders needed to support the SPP as a show of confidence in the company, back the strategy and reduce the amount going to the underwriter. The difference in terms of outcome is clear - think oversubscribed vs 30 odd percent take up.
Unfortunately too many people play free rider and think of the pips they save by buying on market afterwards instead of at $2.70. So many public self congratulatory backslappers.
Where are those who boasted now? What did they achieve? A massive overhang and destroyed sentiment. Not surprised at all.
