@prowiz I also think like this.. so I started buying into a couple gold stocks around a year ago selling out some techs (at the time) to increase my gold mining holdings...
All well and good until a BOD like this one comes along and by paying too much for an asset basically throws shareholder money out the window ripping up their shareholder value...
How do you ever predict BOD and management decisions like this?..they had a great previous record then KBOOM... they meet behind closed doors and it's too late to get out...
So if one has conviction like you and i do..how low do you keep doubling down on all these goldies???
Do you go to 25% of your portfolio?
50%?
100%?
See what I mean?
I can see the logic and rationale ...sure..just like you.. but it's real hard to throw serious conviction to it as a small shareholder becasue basically the ASX game is rigged against us.
