Gold is on the up tonight, it will be interesting to see where it ends up.



This is the 4hr chart obviously, but it started today around $1800

$1850 would be a good end, I think if we end up there we could see $2.70 tomorrow, perhaps more?

At the time of writing, the POG is $1825, the highest it has been in a month (minus 2 days).

I am happy with the size of my position (but more would be better - so long as I am green), I am hoping we can get to $2.80 by the end of the month.

I am looking forward to averaging up, I don't think we will see these levels again, but as you said @SpaceMiner perhaps any sort of negative news in the quarterly could be jumped on.

There are hardly any shorts at the moment, so who knows, maybe the MO has been kill the SP, get a truck load of shares off the back of the recent raise and now allow the SP to take a bit or a run.


Anyways, interesting times, I am hoping we can get back to $3.50 or even $4 in the next 12 months.

It would also be interesting to see what happens with the POG in the next 12 months (Base III, US Inflation, US Bonds)

As well as if they decide to maintain or cut the dividends over the next 12 months.

And if McPhillamys gets approved.

And Tropicana AISC now that the expansion works have been completed (back down to $1100?).

And the benefits of opening up the 2 different cuts at Tropicana (increased grades?).

Who knows, perhaps we could find some more gold. I'm not expecting for this to happen at Tropicana - even though it is a massively prospective area - but because they already have a cash cow for the next 8 years and there is no need to go looking for the time being.
