Hi all,
Doe anyone have a recent broker valuation for Perilya?
The spot zinc price currently is US$1,795/ton and PEM has hedges in place at an average A$2,049/tonne. (I assume based on metric tonnes. 1 metric tonne = 2200lbs).
Converts to US$1,546/ton, using an exchange rate of $0.83
If they can maintain their cash costs at historic levels of A$0.58c/lb they should make a healthy margin but it would appear the spot price is now better than their hedges.
Anyone agree or have different numbers?
I am interested how others value Perilya and if analysts have updated their valuations.
Happy trading
