    Ghengis Khan was not really a religious person although he accepted all religions within his mongol hoards. His idea was to keep the minds of his group intact and focused, and religion seemed to do that. In the 'crusades' the Saracens (Muslims) were being attacked by the Mongols from the east and the Christians from the west, the Christians thought, without knowing much about their friend in the east that it was the work of god. I don't know whether this is waffle, and I didn't quite understand your point but if you think good old Ghengis was a muslim, to my knowledge that is wrong- so he didn't start this 72 virgins thing. The 72 virgins bit was started by mohammed to have his men better engage the enemy, if anyone can put me straight on this, I'm all ears.
