He’s probably also right about an FPSO followed by a platform, but his idea of almost immediately producing from 2 appraisal wells seemed a bit unlikely to me. Brings back memories of BMG and the Anzon cowboys. Sounds particularly unlikely if the FPSO has to be suitable for lots of gas recycling, in which case one of the two wells would need to be for reinjection, or we’d need a third immediately. Seems like development without appraisal, development without a plan etc.
Does data actually support his assertion of 65% recovery from NWS fields?
