I have seen comments on this board that Niska mining will need to be underground and I have a few questions regarding this:
- Did Talga actually make a statement that it needed to be underground?
- I have seem people say that underground mining permits are more difficult to acquire. Why is that?
- Is underground mining more expensive? If so, how much?
- Would being underground make it more likely that it could be mined year-round without affecting reindeer?
- Does anyone have any books or resources where I can read more about underground mining?
