l was surprised at the hostile talk in the CPB offer - rubbishing the company and its directors and track record.
Then the threat that if we dont accept they will out compete us in the market. Stand over tactics l say. Clearly those selling lately felt intimidated and took the market price since it is above 31c, but l dont understand those who signed options with CPB for 31c ?? Are they just ill informed or keen to sell out ? And they lose the div also.
CPB have not done due diligence and are attempting buy at yesterdays price. l am sure CHL will bring them up to date soon!
