If anyone owns LYC shares and votes Greens in Australia, this is an absurdity.
SMSL are not only against Lynas LAMP, but also against “other controversial projects like the petrochemical plant in Pengerang, the Murum dam in Sarawak, the Raub gold mine, and the alleged land grab in Cameron Highlands.”
This is classic green strategy to have a green bag of simultaneous protests, each of which may appeal to different parts of the population. Attack one of them, and they can raise another.
IMHO, nothing will be decided until after Nijab holds elections. And do not hold your breath on that one.
