The data in the attached link is about 8 months old, but the difference between BHP and RIO is really quite small.

Having said that, (and the following is my opinion), RIO is probably further down the automation route than BHP and owns it's own facilities at Cape Lambert and Dampier, wheras BHP has to share Port loading facilities. That sharing probably increases costs somewhat as BHP cannot control it out right.
