compare Buddha to Jesus. what did Jesus teach about:
1. managing money & economics? not much
2. respective obligations in the diversity of human & social relationships? not much
3. how rulers should govern? not much
4. how a citizen should contribute to a secular or democratic society? not much
if any teacher was disconnected from the world, it was not Buddha
Buddha did not say: "
My kingdom is not of this world"
Buddha basically taught: "Living in & of the world but beyond the world"
Buddha has unlimited freedom to act in the world while not being touched (adversely) by the world
