    I do take your point, but how I see it, and this is not in any way a contentious point concerning your post, it's just an opinion.

    Coveting, to covet I believe means to secretly desire. I believe we all have many challenges that we overcome. All of us covert something we should not but this does not mean we lose the battle. The battle is lost is when the first lie is uttered to try to claim that which we have coveted.

    I know this is a fine point but I believe the lie is when we first engage the outside world in that which we have coveted.

    It is best as you have pointed out to not covet in the first place. I was speaking more to the act of coveting that has reached the point where we trespasses into other lives in the form of the first lie.
