EV1's Chilalo project is one of only 3 projects globally, that are able to maintain the integrity of the flake size and distribution through processing.
As you quote many flake graphite projects have issues when the plant is turned on, with the process damaging flake sizes and end product not being to spec.
But EV1's Chilalo, BlackRock's Mahenge and Walkabout's Lindi, all occur from the same source/region in Tanzania and are globally unique and significant in that they the gangue material in the deposit can be liberated with using only reagents to achieve commercially required grades.
Other deposits require putting the graphite through multiple crushing circuits, acid leaching which uses large amounts of power and toxic chemicals.
This minimal process input for maximum output not only ensures the integrity of the flake sizes that come out the other end, but makes them the lowest cost and most 'green' projects due to their energy efficiency.
While I like Black Rock and Walkabout also, they are quadruple and double the market cap of EV1.
It is hands down the best value buy for access to the world's greenest, lowest cost & highest grade graphite.
