If oil drops further this will be a very likely outcome, seen it before too many times with the good old 'consolidation'. Worse still if management can not secure the debt funding and need a further capital raising to prop up funding.

I'm not saying it will happen, but, subject to world macro economic conditions, performance results from drilled wells (especially if they under perform) and price of oil (especially if prolonged lower prices) its a possibility.

Seen too many past cases of rosy forecasts and upbeat posters before the unthinkable happens (ie remember BCC).

Cottee consolidated CTP 5:1 a while ago at ~10c, became 48c then down to today's SP, 18c, which I did not see as a good thing at the time.
Down about 65% now.
Cottee wanted not to be associated with penny dreadfuls and to stop day traders, I think was the line, but for long term holders, now a nightmare.
