I worked @ Goldsworthy & Shay Gap many moons ago & recall them checking over Pardoo then but grades were not high enough for the then price.
Goldsworthy was much higher grade than that being currently quoted for Pardoo but prices have sure improved since those days.
I wonder why AGO has not considered running a spur line off the Goldsworthy/Shay Gap railway line which is not very far from their sites.......maybe it was ripped up when these mines closed ?
Anyway, AGO is well worth a punt as the area is lousey with iron ore & I wouldn't be surprised to see them find a nice sized high grade deposit in amongst the fines grade already identified.
