Just read a piece of news from CATL recruitment advertisement on a Chinese HR website. Apparently, CATL is prepared to pay four times extra of the average salary to encourage its workers to work through the Chinese New Year without the three week standard holiday. Given the Chinese government advising everyone not to go back to hometown for the CNY due to potential virus spreading (imagining 500 million people moving around that country within three week time frame), it is highly likely many CATL employees will take up this offer. I guess CATL must be too busy trying to fulfill orders.
