That’s pretty insightful and probably not far off the mark. The question is what exactly is AVZ’s mandate and high much control do China have over it. As DFS nears completion and the road to Manono is completed later this year (albeit not sealed) the risk of a non-Chinese entity doing a deal with AVZ or taking it over becomes much more real and likely. It’s reaching the pointy end of the process with international whales starting to circle IMO. Let’s see how tight that grip is that the Chinese government supposedly has.
