    Recently, BYD officially released a new policy for subsidies for new energy vehicles: before October 31 this year, anyone who purchases BYD's new energy vehicle products can enjoy the "2018 new energy full subsidy." The policy shows that before October 31 this year, BYD's new energy purchased by consumers will not increase in price due to the decline of subsidy policy.

    The Beijing News (Reporter Lu Yifu) On July 1, the new energy vehicles will continue to be exempted from the purchase tax. Recently, the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation have issued the "Private Purchase Tax Preferential Policies for Continued Implementation" announcement, announcing that from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020, the purchase of new energy vehicles will be exempted from vehicle purchase tax. This means that new energy vehicles will be exempt from purchase tax (10% over the purchase price) for six consecutive years.

    This is a strong shot for the new energy vehicles after the end of the transition period of new energy subsidies. Prior to this, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the Ministry of Commerce issued the “Implementation Plan for Promoting the Recycling of Key Consumer Goods and Smooth Resources Recycling (2019-2020)”, proposing to resolutely remove the obstacles to passenger car consumption and propose All localities may not impose restrictions on new energy vehicles and restrict purchases. Those that have already been implemented should be abolished and actively hedge the impact of subsidies on new energy subsidies.
