Yeah i couldn't think of a much more unpleasant procedure than a kidney biopsy.
I've had a pleural effusion drained with a big needle in my back and that was pretty shit; I could feel the needle pushing through different tissues.
A kidney biopsy would be 100 times worse.
Nice if they can be avoided.
