    SVP, Global Business Development and Alliance Management


    The SVP – Global Business Development and Alliance Management is a senior executive at Telix who supports the Chief Commercial Officer and executive team in achieving the company's long-term strategic goals. This role involves leading and developing business and corporate development activities for the company. The Business Development function focuses on expanding Telix's pipeline through activities such as in-licensing, asset acquisition, distribution relationships, out-licensing, and supply chain partnerships. Corporate Development is responsible for driving Telix's growth through company-level acquisitions, strategic joint ventures, and divestments, while also integrating acquired businesses. The Strategic Alliances function manages relationships with strategic partners, facilitates collaboration, and maximizes the value derived from Telix's global network. The "New Initiatives" division serves as a platform for exploring and implementing new business ideas, with the goal of establishing fully functioning business units within Telix.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Business Development:
    • Facilitate the growth of Telix's R&I portfolio of programs by in-licensing and/or acquiring new early-stage assets
    • Support each Region to build an active and robust portfolio of distribution partnerships
    • Identify and execute out-licensing opportunities where it is in line with Telix's corporate objectives
    • Ensure strategic supply chain partnerships are appropriately structured and executed
    • Create and operate centralized deal opportunity funnel for prospecting opportunities generated by staff across the company
    • Corporate Development:
    • Lead and drive all M&A and strategic planning activities with the objective of meeting the company's long-term strategic objectives
    • Ensure robust processes with respect to integration of new acquisitions and/or partnerships
    • Support of capital raising initiatives
    • Strategic Alliances:
    • Manage projects and budgets, support negotiation of agreements, manage Telix internal stakeholders to deliver on Telix's commitments and to ensure value is captured on time and in full from Telix's new and existing strategic partnerships
    • Identify additional opportunities for collaboration and value-creation with each strategic partner
    • New Initiatives:
    • Development of Strategic Plans that map out development and potential of the business unitDelivery of key actions to build appropriate critical mass in each new initiative before graduation to a formal business unit
    • Strong leadership of team and stakeholders across the business
    • Facilitate the growth of Telix's R&I portfolio of programs by in-licensing and/or acquiring a number of new early- stage assets each year
    • Support each Region to build an active and robust portfolio of distribution partnerships across each region
    • Identify and execute out-licensing opportunities where it is in line with Telix's corporate objectives

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Post-graduate management degree preferred
    • Deep and demonstrated experience (minimum 10 years), in supporting a pharmaceutical or medical device company specifically in alliance management and business development
    • Minimum 5 years experience leading teams
    • Experience working in a senior business development position within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
    • Experience working in a multi-national environment with dispersed teams and multiple international partnerships
    • Proven ability to present and negotiate with all levels including C-suite
