Thought I'd create a thread for us to post news clippings of where the world is heading with green steel. We know the resource MGT is outstanding so it is only about two factors for me 1) Funding and 2) timing to market which is influenced by the supply/demand conditions. There are some really interesting articles about where the world is heading so keep em coming!
2) Swedish site rolls out ‘green steel’ (arkansasonline.com) - Replaced coaking coal with hydrogen and are reduced to ball-shaped "sponge iron," (MAGNETITE) which takes it name due to pores left behind following the removal of oxygen. This is then melted in an electric furnace to produce green steel.
Obviously the MGT resource is outstanding, but ultimately it is a question of whether the market opportunity is there for MGT to enter the market in a timely manner.
