It tells a rough date of FID. It does not state how long the remaining portions of the DFS will take. And no DFS is not FID. The DFS is a critical input into the FID process, but they are not the same. The DFS informs the decision making process, while the FID represents the actual commitment to proceed with the project. The time between the completion of DFS and a FID can vary significantlyAnd can range from a few months to over a year.
So my question stands. What is the timeline for DFS ?
