understanding the potential of iocg deposits

Given that MTH have announced the discovery of a new IOCG province at their Huckitta Project it's worth any existing shareholders or potential new shareholders getting a better understanding of the potential of this small cap explorer by having a better understanding of the geology and just what exactly is an IOCG Iron Oxide Copper Gold deposit.

Most of you are aware of the huge Olympic Dam IOCG deposit and also Prominent Hill discovered by Minotaur in 2001 and now owned by OZ Metals.

Incidentally 3 of MTH's current board members are also ex or current Minotaur board members involved in the Prominent Hill discovery.

The wealth of knowledge and experience this board has in identifying and finding commercial IOCG deposits can not be understated!!!!

They are looking for the next PH and this latest news by MTH of the discovery of a new IOCG province only proves and highlights that these guys are on the right track.

I agree it's still very early days and I've only been on the register for 2 weeks and was fortunate enough to get in circa 4 before the latest announcement but this really has the potential to be a flyer if and I do say if they manage to pin point an IOCG deposit. There's no question they have the right geology. Just need to get lucky and this has all the hallmarks of a SIR type run and re-rating.

Greenfields area
Never been drill tested.
No real modern day geophysics and techniques (up till now)
Highly experienced and dedicated board.
Low market cap.
Largely un-noticed atm.

This current round of drilling has proven the concept of geology hosting IOCG deposits and the upcoming VTEM survey will go a long long way in refining this down even further to more suitable drill targets.

Read the following link and pay particular attention to page 13 and just how close 2 other companies previously came to discovering PH only to miss it by a couple hundred metres!!!!!

Look at what their results were before Minotaur came along and drilled a hole right into a sweet spot.

We may get real lucky this drill campaign but the upcoming VTEM will go a long way in identifying further sweet spots to target.

I'm in now cause I'm not taking that chance in case they hit something in this round of drilling.

Once you've read that I urge you to go back over MTH presentations over the last 6-12 months and look at the references to similar geology between the 2 and draw your own conclusions....

it's a very compelling story and one no doubt the board believes in as do I.
