I continue to believe that BRN's key prime mover advantage is just where BRN's brains trust have been saying:
1. With SNN
2. Without reference to the cloud for computing support for decision making (but downloading new models and providing feedback is not ruled out).
3. With (as in-- as well as above) CNN which is amenable to conversion to SNN as has been described in BRN documents and announcements.

BRN Akida isn't going to replace mainframe/cloud business computing (payroll etc), or graphics/GPU matrix computation.
I am still unclear on the emanating potential from BRN/Renesas. I haven't seen anything concrete on its scope, other than there is a relationship.
