Tom the Chair has explicitly stated that unsolicited offers were the catalyst for the change of approach last year from looking to go for development to drilling the proverbial out of the thing to create optionality. I am not sure of the reasoning behind that. Perhaps that the more you know the more leverage you have in considering/negotiating offers? But I am not persuaded by my own thought as that seems out of sync with Tom's character and also we know that at least one of the cornerstone investors likes "BIG" projects. On balance I go for the "we are here for the long-haul" view and as long as the rest of us are too, no problem. Hey just balance your portfolio. Have a producer or two, then a CAI coming on stream shortly, and BRB for the grandchildren....
