Wags - you may be right but I am not expecting any Genetech announcement unless it is a takeover, new deal or take up of their licencing deal after reviewing the data pack. If it is the first or 2nd then it could happen at any time - none of us would know. If it is the latter then I would assume it would take 6-12 months or so to review the data before excercising their licence so Jun-Dec next year or there abouts. They may do a courtesy update to mention the data pack has been provided and the 12 months Genentech get to review it has started but Voldemorte will probably produce a post deriding useless ASX announcements 'one mouse at a time' which I agree with him on. Unless there is some significance that shareholders need to be told about I imagine the next quarterly news letter will just say something like 'we provided the data and now we wait'. If it turns out to be ASX noticeworthy I will be scouring it for a hint that the data is better than expected - under the continuous disclosure obligations if they think there is something material that shareholders need to know about then they have to release it - they certainly won't be allowed to release the actual data but they could come out with some extra flowery language to try and communicate a degree of confidence about how successful they have been. It's a thin edge all companies walk here, they ususally believe they have solved the worlds problems only to find out the customer wasn't as excited about it as they were - PYC has been guilty of overconfidence in the past and management have been pretty shy about their success for 2 years now. I think that is all changing cause, as I said before, they have just got off the dirt road and hit the bitumen but they are checking ahead to make sure there is no more dirt road in front of them.

Hopefully they give us the date when they pass it off to Genentech - terms of contract are always the key and gave the gift long before the company released the Janssen exit.
