Interesting to see the few comments on antibiotics here and a report in the papers today

This was why I was curious why pyc had seemingly shut some doors by claiming oncology as the new direction. If they were fully confident they had some breakthrough with genentech it's hard to believe they would be as low key about the transfer of results.
It seems to me the antibiotic side is another huge market and to some degree there would surely be less regulatory requirements to get a product to market wouldn't there?? Their current approach appears to indicate they have lost interest in this area, or had little success, yet a while back they were all over it. A shame as it could easily be just as rewarding.
