The sudden bid by Kingsgate for Andean,valued at well over $100m.,shows how very cheap are the BTV assets at a quarter of this,as they move to funding and defining a million oz. plus orebody.
The just released announcement shows some clever funding as they clearly wish to accelerate their efforts by several months and a large prestigious gold fund has pounced on this undervaluation by committing a further $1m.plus another $1m. to exercise options and receive the valuable 2007 options.
I expect BTV to be rerated by the market,as this announcement shows there is little doubt they will achieve producer status,so watch out for predators.
