The key thing to note is that the options discussed are unlisted options. They are not tradable on the market and the only way for management to benefit from these unlisted options is exercise them and thereby provide further cashflow to the company.
I do agree with some folks here. It's probably better that this 'pump' begins so that you may distribute your shares and never return again.
