In the Corporate world, a lot of companies try and follow what the leaders in their industry are doing, otherwise they risk losing market share.
The most glaringly obvious example of this in modern times is how Samsung was labeled a "fast follower" during its attempts to catch up with Apple.

Having grabbed a leader in each of the verticals, you would like to think our Sales Team / Partners are targeting the other companies in the same vertical that are trying to "keep up with the Joneses".
