I understand that the Competition authorities will have a problem with NearMaps making a bid, but I see no reason why two companies should be flying the same CBD's to collect similar photos.
All those airplane carbon emissions!
I prefer to see AMX focus on Europe and special projects and leave NEA (my biggest holding) to focus on ANZ, USA and Canada.
But then I'm biased.
