Timing not great i'll grant you..... but who decided that the money on offer wasn't enough for the assets??
The merchant bankers or the CEO of Karoon Gas??
One would be trying to steal the assets the other would be trying to retain sharheoder value at all costs....
I'll let you decide who actually made the decision to not proeceed.

I, like you would have loved to see 500 - 750 million dollars for the 30% of Brazil asets.... as a i say the timing was terrible ( markets were gasping for air)but what they offered wasn't enough i think the CEO showed great intestinal fortitude to tell the big funds to forget it .. i am sure PBl and a few others like our assets??
As i say ...still trying to work out why they gave us the 3 Leases in the Santos Basin PBL????
