At todays sp of 26c,Cooper seems to be valued at around $20 per brl of its 1.1mil reserves plus $18mil cash as at 3rd qtr.(say with a -10% fudge factor built in)
3rd qtr produced 131mmbls for est NPAT of $4.41m.
Thats $33/brl net.
So each qtr that production and oil price remain at current levels,COE's cash accumulation adds to its valuation by $1.7mil.
ie,the $13 dollar difference between the $20 per brl in the ground and the net $33 per brl sold.
So 130000brl production per qtr times $13 equals $1.7mil
At 136mil shares thats 1.2c per share addition to COE's valuation.
**Assuming production and Oil price remain at current levels**
Note:Didn't include "before" tax $540k write off for Kitson in 4th qtr and $900k for Yanerbie in 1st qtr 06.
Please do your own research.
