    Quindell’s board has recommended reappointing KPMG as auditor — saying that its assistance is necessary to distribute the proceeds from selling Quindell’s legal services arm to Slater & Gordon, the Australian law firm. ******That deal, worth an initial payment of £637m, is unaffected by the restatements, Quindell said*****
