    semantics I know however insolvency is as you say being unable to pay liabilities as and when they fall due.

    It is possible to be technically insolvent as tradercb asserts (and that I dispute)-last post-and still have cash flows that are sufficient to meet liabilities.

    If an insolvent company doesn't have cash to meet liabilities as they fall due then restructuring or liquidation come into play.

    As far as I can tell neither are pertinent to MAE.

    I simply asked tradercb to show facts supporting the technical insolvency statement he or she made on the forum.
