My point was that the Labour economic credentials are in tatters because they didn't have the wit to know they had a strong economy and hence could have saved billions in handouts which all of us will be asked to pay back in the near future. This unseemly scrabbling around after money to erase a deficit is the result of very poor economic handling of what was a very healthy economy handed over by Costello
