Kingpin, I understand where you're coming from and if any of you have tried to get a decent job in a Capital city you'd know how misleading these unemployment figures are.
Menial, low paid jobs on casual rates and hours (barely enough to live on) are there for the unskilled.
Apart from that go to central Queensland or Northern WA with your trade certificate and you get a highly paid job in a remote area with a sky high cost of living to gnaw into your bulging pay packet.
