It was mentioned in the business report that PET were working with their licences on the Great Lakes in the US. The article states that it comprises 18% of world’s fresh water! You guys might have known, I was bit excited to learn this. It would be a great announcement to wake up to, that additional work in this area has been agreed to.
I wonder if one of the obstacles to getting contacts would be the loyalty the US feels to the Alum industry. How strong is this loyalty? Could they have some type symbiotic relationship, whereby both profit, and achieve a greater good. PET from my understanding has the positive of having nil adverse reactions to humans, fish and aquatic life. Alum toxic at certain doses.
Would there be resistance to Phoslock/PET due to PET being so China centric (as it has been viewed by others). Is this business one in which there would be a revolt against Alum due to PET having such a major safety factor.
It is going to be an interesting year.
