yes price is a current concern of the company and that is why their strategy is to work with partners on large orders to bring the price down. All on this board know this.
The maximum use of the input fuel is also a concern with europe so efficiency is important. BlueGen efficiency is 85% with electricity production 60% efficient. So CCPP is not as efficient. As domestic boilers in Europe are replaced (they all have a finite lifetime of between 10-15 years) there is an opportunity to replace these 9 million units per year with more efficient technology. In scale prices will come down.
Generally, europe have to tackle a looming problem as renewable come on in greater scale, efficient use of fuels from dependant countries is becoming more important.
There is no one answer but a combination.
