Oz...if you read some of the case studies out of UK-Scotland you can answer your questions re installation-integration with boilers etx. Remeber CFU are not directly installing these units so their installations vary market to market depending on who the provider is.
Re CCPP, it is a good point. With old Uni friends working for Alstom in Europe and some friends locally who are turbine technicians or engineers I use their knowledge at every opportunity.
But the one consoderations with this sort of thing, especially in densely populated Europe is the "not in my backyard" challenges. Not insurmountable. ..but a hurdle which in the instance of BlueGen is more "in my roof space...or cellar, garage/laundry" etc.
Some use of distributed generation by way of mchp and solar to go with wind turbines and new effecient CCPP ( smaller due to use of effecient distributed mchp that can readily use waste heat in homes) is a model I am investing in
