Unfortunately there is still a review except that Fuziah Salleh has stepped down. Let’s hope they sort this out sooner rather than later or the LYC shares will keep see sawing.
This is what was in the news :
“The Malaysian review is expected to last three months and focus on the level of impact being caused by the low-level radioactive material that is processed at the refinery.
There have also been suggestions that a tax incentive offered to Lynas by the Malaysian Government in 2008 will be probed.
This is what Fuziah said prior to stepping down:
“Personally, I do not want Lynas to use me as an issue for them to shift the focus from the real issue.”
