You are probably right. But he is a public figure and what he's been saying in the past and today is being watched by hundreds of millions of people around the world, if not billions (lots of Muslims are watching). And what do all these people think of him, and by extension, of Israelis? Have you watched him speak 3 days ago at the UN? So unreal.....
