expecting something special from the announcement.
Companies routinely drill, log and test high impact wells without the need for a trading halt. Very curious too learn why it was felt warranted in this case.
My gut feel is due to the uncertainties on the structure size from the sparse 2d seismic, the new logs have caught everyone by suprise such that the companies previous estimate has to be revised significantly and trading halt was felt prudent due to the extra time needed to carefully review and confirm all data before blowing the market away with an epic announcement.
Heres hoping anyway.
