No indeed Phil, I don't see Buru as a short, far from it - I hold Buru long. To be clear, I wasn't suggesting that BRU is as yet among those stocks that have a predominantly uncritical cult-like following. Your own input here is one assurance to me of that.
Other mitigating factors are that Buru's announcement style doesn't strike me as especially over-optimistic, nor do I yet see among BRU's management any of the kinds of Pied Piper personality who naturally seem to attract slavish holders.
However, one of the warning signs for me that healthy critical thought processes may be under threat is the prolific use of "thumbs downs" for reasonable contrarian comments, plus attempts to discourage dissenters personally. Those things I have seen here, and it's what led me to comment.
The thing is, we actually need to welcome thoughtful dissenters, contrarians, and sceptics. We need them because, unless Buru is unique in the history of the world, it will at times not act in our best interests, and we need to be as vigilant as possible to protect our investments.
