A4O I agree. Many years ago there was a famine in Ethiopia and Oxfam were appealing for donations. and there was an article in the paper saying how GBP500,000 of whisky had just been unloaded at the main port, while 10% of the population were starving. The govt couldn't give a toss about their own people - I can't believe that it wasn't possible to skim enough food from the 90% to feed the 10%. Logistically it must have been feasible, politically irrelevant.
With the Syrian refugee camps, most of the food/medicines will end up with rebel or govt forces, airport officials etc. as bribes to let 10% through.
Any supplies into the region only help to perpetuate the war and prolong the suffering of the refugees. Man's inhumanity to man.
