Well Welfare Capitalism can be an ugly beast if you keep blaming socialism for it .
Getting the category right perhaps takes some education to realise in a mixed economy you have both socialism and welfare capitalism done by the guvnuts mostly nowadays ?
I guess you have look and go wow gee and i use the truck driver scenario that they are out there earning money and negative gear a house etc . Someone designed the truck and engineered it for them to do so .
The fact they think they dont need contribute to the knowledge financially to get that truck on road is irrelevant ?
But buying a house and being able gain welfare capital is ok ?
Yeh once you have your dream its better not let anyone else achieve their dream is capitalism in pure form imo .
But people dont realise perhaps that welfare capitalism fordism etc etc are just labels of the same fish like left and righT . Perhaps?
All both want is productivity productivity productivity . We have increased it that much we have unemployment through industrialization robots computers etc and still they want both people working in a family and most nowadays the children work as well !
They supply unlimited access to capital to in debt you then demand more productivity !
Meanwhile billions are wasted hand over fist on everything else.?
Everything else is welfare capitalism imo. Child care . Thats not socialism thats welfare capitalism . Just because the government does it does not mean its socialist. imo
